*** How it works ****
The 8 provided buttons give you lots of flexibility on how to play while still being discreet and easy to wear under gloves.
The white button caps are removable and become 6mm tall buttons which are easy to feel & click under a thicker glove to avoid problems hitting the wrong buttons. [Note: We can customize these with even lower-profile buttons, wider or smaller spacing on request. Inquire about customization.]
Sturdy cable with PET cable sleeve reinforcement to prevent cable breakage or cutting. Plus it looks cool in all black. 🙂
*** Power requirements ***
You will need to support a 5v battery input by a method of your choice. These are commonly the “powerbank” type of source. You need to ensure that it will provide power even for low draw uses.

*** Sound modes ***
The 8 buttons can be triggered 3-different ways:
1. *Click* – Plays a rotating list of your sounds 8 categories, up to 100 files per category.
2. *Long-Press* – Plays gives you 7 more categories with up to 100 files per category.
3. Button 8 goes into extended “conversation” mode or 1-shot clip mode, details below **.
4. Extra-long press cancels the sound play in case you change your mind or hit the wrong button. [Which is a VERY common thing.]

Additionally, long pressing button 8 will enable a special configuration menu of buttons 1-7 which enables you to play a single specific sound clip, the most common use is to play a series of related sound clips that will give you a “conversation” interaction, like Galaxy’s Edge character interactions. Being able to do this adds a new dimension to your realistic character.
*** Audio Voices ***
Note: This device is not polyphonic, meaning it does not play two sounds at once. So for Vader it will not play a breathing loop behind voice sounds. You will need to provide a secondary MP3 player or some other device that plays the loop for you. Most often a tiny MP3 Player will work well, something like this can work https://amzn.to/4bRNQSu.

*** Sizing & Measurement ***
* Cable length *
The default cable length is 40″ which should be long enough for most arms, but you may want shorter or custom.
To measure, with your arms outstretched, take a measurement from the middle of your palm to the middle of your chest.
We can provide custom lengths if you have a special size needed. Please specify in the order Notes if you need this.
* Hand strap *
The hand strap is a very stretchy soft elastic and will fit most hands comfortably, it’s better to be tighter than too loose. If you need a larger or smaller sized band than the standard one, please specify in the order notes.
